The encyclical almost certainly has fewer references to professional wrestling, but I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing yet.

Oh, I can only imagine the outrage over this encyclical, which restates things he has been saying for years. I hope that people attention to the criticism of certain strands of Christianity; that might actually provoke some interesting discussion.

I'm really excited for your book to be released. I work at the Baylor Press and have managed to sneak a couple of peaks at it. It's so much more interesting than the usual academic books we publish (escatalogical visions in Ezekiel anyone?).

Hey, thank you! I appreciate that. I've been really happy with how hard everyone at Baylor has been working on this, given that it's a bit of a departure from what the press usually publishes. Eschatological visions in Ezekiel are a blast, don't get me wrong, but my book includes a Christian rap song.
