[Visible because Ky was too tense to filter it privately except for strikeouts]This was easier back home. There I had an entire team working with me, we had panels and panels of the IPF and the ICC, and even if I took on the role of judge or prosecutor, we had a balance between them both. The fact that Reeve Tuesti not only refused a defense ( Read more... )

I must admit Officer Ky, it seems that this trial is taking its toll on you. I do not believe there is a limited selection rather those who could possibly help out in the court system do not wish to help.

I have plans to apply for the justice system. It seems logical to go where a person like myself can do some good.

[OOC: She can't help be feel sympathy for those who are feeling trapped even if that person is a stranger. ]

That is what's troubling me as well. I have led prosecutions before in my world, but those who did want to help for this trial aren't being allowed to. It's..

...

I apologise, I shouldn't.. I'll be fine.

Forgive me, but you are? It would be wonderful to see such determined people in the upcoming Court of Justice. And hopefully you all wont be forced to work alone.

[ooc; Ky appreciates it even if he is a stuck up priest-boy. :D He's been miserable from before and during the trial because nothing's going right.]

I understand certain things should not be spoken.

I am Wilhelmina Harker and I do wish we could have met under better circumstances. Personally I do not like what I am seeing so far from the Justice system. Making one person shoulder so much responsiblity does not seem fair. Therefore it seems if I would like to see change I should get involved.

Try not to despair even if things do seem futile.

[OOC: Mina has had her share of misery so it is hard for her to turn a blind eye to other people's suffering. She's rather a mother hen when it comes down to it. ^_^ Just don't mess with her chicks because she'll peck your eyes out. *lol*]

Thank you for understanding.

It's hard to explain, Ms. Harker. You see, the system itself isn't at fault. We've had closed cases before, where I come from, where a limited panel of prosecutors and jury were involved. But those were for absolutely extreme cases, like terrorists, psychopaths and such.

But.. while I understand from what I have investigated and am learning, Reeve Tuesti IS at fault, but not so seriously that he deserves the death sentence. The only God I can turn to now is my own heart.

I'm sure you and the others getting invoved will do a wonderful job. From your words, you seem like a fair woman. I've been a police captain far too long, I suppose.

[ooc; Dawwww!! Ky has.. no one at this point. He's too proud as much as he'll deny it. Plus he's cranky about not being able to make up with his lover. Which is why his prosecution's so harsh. >3]

Johnny doesn’t think your a bullhead all the time.. He just thinks you got the good ideals.. nnnnn but you're going about them with the wrong crowd!

I dunno what's going on there cuz trails are snooze-o-rama! Johnny hasn't been to Jury Duty in......... ever. ^_^;; Though I know if he were here he'd give you some good pointers.. like... like... like it's not the justice of the country, it's the justice of the people! What you know deeeeeeeeeeeeep down in your muddled up heart is right and wrong...

Ano.. I.. know sometimes just knowing what’s good isn’t good enough for business-uniform type people it’s good enough for Johnny that’s why if something is really truly good, evidence will always pop up to help them! You just gotta look for it ( ... )

Then I hope whatever evidence can help him does come in. So far, even his own words are helping destroy him as he is..

It's more of a case of being able to see too much than being blind.

... I don't think I'm meant for a happy ending.

Muu.. There's no such thing as seeing too much! People see things all the time, sometimes nice things, sometimes horrible things.. if you think you've seen too much of either than you're just kidding yourself! You can't un-see something!

If you see something gross, its not like you wanted to see it, it just happened before your eyes and it's not your fault if you can't get that groady image out of your head.. one time I saw that big hairy guy from PWAB bend over and split his pants... GROSSNESS!

But you ARE meant for a happy ending! Because.. Because you're just like Johnny not really that you're a knight! And Knights are the good guys and always get the princess or fire-breathing red dragon, I forgot in the end!

... no, not all knights, Miss May. Those are Princes. Knights die in the line of battle.

And I am no Prince. I can't even win the one I love.

I'm sorry. Thank you.

How is everyone managing to... Oh. Wonderful. The one time people shouldn't see my thoughts and I woe to the world. Augh.

Not really. But it's kind of you to ask. Work has ben very trying.

I apologise... for this, but I...

I do not know if I can be of any help, but should you need it, I will... gladly provide. If I may be of any help in the first place...

[ooc; Aka Lazlo's feeling a little guilty for judging Ky badly~ X3;; But he won't say it outright~ Sorry for repost!]

Please don't apologise. You're only offering out of kindness..

I appreciate the thought. Perhaps a person like you would be more than fitting in helping the public and protecting them.

You are..?

[ooc; Ky's not bad-- his morals make him do stupid things though. x)]

((ooc: This... is an anonymous note left for Ky, written in longhand on a sheet of old parchment and folded in thirds to stand up as a tent on the prosecution's table. Unsigned, no fingerprints- rather, it's smooth, as if whoever wrote it wore gloves. It's hard to say who'd be stealthy enough to sneak something like that out in plain view....))You're a zealous young man with strong values... are you following your values now ( ... )
