How wonderful, for the goddess of love to despair at falling in love. For the Greek version of Aphro was always focused on the sex and beauty, while Eros was romantic/sexual lvoe combined more properly, so this feels very real to me. And I love how Adonis' reverent, calm passion disarms her so steadily when she's just used to the wham/bam sex normally. The part about the hips wwas very visceral too, touching.
*loves this comment* I'm so happy that you think this rings real, because I can imagine that it's kind of counterintuitive for Aphrodite to act strange about love, but in my mind (and I think this is supported by some myths) she's more about body than mind. I'm so glad that you agree, as you're such an Aphrodite-lover :)
