I wish the GG writers would just be consistent. It's awesome or horrible - never any in between. Chuck is either too sweet or a complete bastard. There is NO Dair or so much we get our hopes up. Ugh - it's frustrating.

I really needed this after the atrocity that was last night's episode; thank you!

Now unto the review...

What I like about this story is how it perfectly fits/slips into canon (and yet more realistic than canon). There is Dan/Blair interaction at the engagement party, yay! - which is realistic, as one would interact with one's friend at said friend's engagement party.

I particularly liked the fact that she came to him. I believe that if Dan and Blair were to happen in canon; she would have to make the first move.

It still baffles me how they completely ignored D/B in the last few eps - especially since they had been getting so much better at continuity. Nah well, as long as I have you writing fics, all is well. :O)

I'm hoping for just a glimmer of hope in the last ep. If we get what the spoilers say we are going to get - I'll be more than happy to keep giving GG a chance. They did so much good for Blair this year, and they haven't managed to take it ALL away. They could give us Dair back at any time - as long as she doesn't marry that Basstard.

I couldn't agree more. I'm on episode 14 of Season 4 but I've seen most of the Dair scenes on YouTube! I've read a spoiler here and there but I can't wait for it to finish tomorrow so I can watch the remaining episodes altogether.
