i don't wanna live on the land, anymore

And I have a stomach virus.

*\o/*

My life blows.

This will not stop me from seeing Nightmare on Elm Street tonight. It WILL NOT.

Fringe discussion? Anyone? I was mostly conscious/in the room for it last night. I enjoyed it. Although the singing was mostly unnecessary.

Ugh, sorry about the stomach virus. I've seen quite a few people sick these days. Myself included. I was thinking about seeing Nightmare on Elm Street with the Germans but Bianca doesn't wanna see it. I think Thomas is interested though. I didn't realize how hard it was to get someone to see a horror movie with you, lol.

Fringe was fun last night. I agree the singing was unnecessary. But it was still fun. I wish there was a noir style show on TV for realsies. I would so watch that shit.

It's not that hard for me because one of the best friends [Kimmy] loves horror as much as me and now that Arwen is on board - I'm set. I do know plenty of people who think we are crazy though. Tis sad. I guess I've never been scared of much, and shit on a big screen happening to fake people who aren't me -just doesn't seem like a big deal.

I would tune in every single week to some primetime noir. I kept thinking how good everyone looked. More of that I say. Less of the singing that was just an afterthought. I mean seriously - go big or go home. There was no point in everyone [except Peter] singing like a line. That's kind of halfass. I don't think it ruined any part of the fun though, you are right. I just thought it was weirdly done.

Ugh stomach virus, booo! *hugs* That sucks hon, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Maybe going to the movie will help take your mind off of it for a while. I'm interested to hear what you think about it too! I'm hoping to go either tonight or tomorrow sometime myself :)

I loved Fringe last night. I think they should have two episodes a week - one normal Fringe and one noir Fringe, because I thought it was awesome. I think the singing felt a tad unnecessary, yes. Maybe because there wasn't enough of it to make it really feel like a "musical" episode? Oh well, I agree with KC that it was still a lot of fun. And visually gorgeous - the costumes, the hair, that dark blue lighting. I really enjoyed it

I'll survive. I'm sure. We will have to dish Nightmare later. It's a date.

Yeah, exactly. You'll have to see my comment above to KC. Go big or go home. There just wasn't enough singing if that is what they were going for. I think it would have been just as much fun without. Everyone looked wonderful. I mean, it's sad we can't all dress like that every day. I want to live in a film noir, not just settle for watching it on TV. When I start my cult that is what we are doing. ;)

Oh I really really thought the episode was well done. It was lovely. I just thought there should have been more singing or none. Eh, but I guess I've never been on Brown Betty - who knows what sort of story I would tell if I were. ;)
