This was excellent. Callie and Izzie bonding over George leaving them in such a mess, was well... unexpected. But I really enjoyed it. Interesting take. I don't think I've ever thought of them as...well not friends more like friendenemies.
I also liked that everyone has sort of taken Izzie in to help her through her pregnancy and her heart ache over George. Derek and Meredith helping her with the crib, Derek and Sloan blocking George's path to allow her to escape, Callie and even Cristina are there to listen when she needs it.
I like this little world you've created, I can't wait to see more!

I usually just work around Callie, but today I wanted to show how both the girls could see beyond the boy. I mean ultimately they have to deal with each other, ultimately it's George who has created this problem he needs to fix.
And I think things will get a little more hairy once George tries to do that. With George back Callie is going to remember how she feels, her jealousy and the love she still has for him.
I'm so glad you liked the whole crew helping. I think they so would. They are a family. Izzie couldn't do it on her own. There will also be much more of that, I'm sure.
Thanks so much for reading! I'm very happy to explore new territory.

I don't hate Callie...I just don't like her relationship with George. I've always thought they didn't make a great couple and had big problems from the very beginning. But that's not completely Callie's fault nor is it Izzie's or George's. It will be interesting to see how Shonda handles the situation because it is a sticky place to be in.
And yeah George did leave things in a mess last season. And looks like he leaves things in even a bigger mess in this fic. I can't wait until he see's the very pregnant Izzie.

Real life so very rarely has a cut and dry bad guy. You are right. I think that is why I love GA, it tries to portray life realistically.
