Yes, the first time I left this place, I awoke where I had been sleeping before, a year after being taken to this place. I only regained my memories of this place when I came back.

...of course. It seems like from answers to my questions that some have a duty to perform in their own worlds. No time passes, but to not return to a place with one outcome over another... it could be disconcerting.
