Haha, all the original Hans Christian Anderson stories and Grimm's Fairy Tails/Brothers Grimm were so much more interesting than their Disney counterparts for the very reason you said! =)
yeah! Just not all happy endings, people died and stuff, they were darker. Of course Disney had to clean them up for little kids, I get it. But the best ones are always the originals!
