I really enjoyed this. I could totally see it happening with both of them as well. They are stubborn and I can see how they'd both jump to conclusions. I hope to read more from you as this was fun.

Cool then, I've got a whole bunch written of one where River loses her memory. I hoping to do a series type thing of it. I love different interpretions of River and Jayne, it's almost surpassed Romy for me!

This was so good! When you said angsty, I was preparing for the worst for Jayne. In a way it was, but you the ending just rocked! Great job!

This was nice. Jayne not knowing that his family needs him is typical. But I think the best characterisation came in Mal, in this moment -

“Bullshit Jayne, if this is about this morning, well, we can talk about it later but you either get up here now, or you get off!” [...] He took a moment to really enjoy the disbelief creeping across Mal’s face before saying diffidently, “Well, cap’n, that sounds like a mighty fine idea to me.” Leaving Mal speechless, he walked down the corridor towards the cargo hold[...]

I can really see Mal doing this (except maybe 'bullshit', it doesn't seem to fit as well as another expletive might) and think it would pretty much be his reaction if Jayne ever did up and leave. As far as Mal was concerned, they had an understanding.

So yeah ^^ I liked it!

Why, thank you kindly!! My chinese is severely lacking, well, in particular my chinese expletives... I really like Mal (and Nathan Fillion - completely hi-larious), and there seems to always be some sort of miscommunication going on between him and his crew.
