Ok...what's with the Resident Evil films being more about style (I'm saying 'style' in a loose sort of way because special effect heavy Matrix type scenes aren't really a 'style') over substance

Personally I have never played the games, don't think I ever will...but I too have noticed that Resident Evil has changed a LOT since the first and second movie
