Hey Holmies. I've been MIA from LJ for a couple of years now, but I used to lurk here quite a bit. Despite being a massive fan of canon and several adaptations (especially Ritchieverse), I've never written much SH fic before. However, after writing this on request for one of my tumblr followers, I thought I'd share it here as well.

I've read some great stuff at the kinkmeme but haven't filled anything. To be honest the reason I hadn't written Holmes before was because I didn't think I could do the material justice. It also seems less active than it used to be, but maybe that's a reason to get on it!

I do wish the kinkmeme weren't so full of BBC, because while I thoroughly enjoy the show, I can't muster anything resembling sexual attraction to anyone on it. :<

Yeah, I'm not interested in BBC fic either. (I did like the show but I just can't think of it as Sherlock Holmes. And I couldn't see any kind of sexual chemistry between the characters.)

I guess we will have to prompt more movieverse stuff. ;)
