This is a lovely story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I believed in the portraits of Holmes and Watson that you drew so cleverly. Thank you so much. I've already read it several times!

May I offer one Britpick? We don't habitually use 'momentarily' in that
sense or context today (although it may be creeping in from exposure to U.S.
culture ) as it's an Americanism. Holmes would probably say 'imminently' instead.
