Aaaaaaaa! You did it! <3 Today I listened to your lovely voice. It was hot, the wind was blowing hard. It fitted in perfectly. But why is your Holmes so adamant? He knows Watson loves him, Watson knows Holmes loves him. What's your problem? <3 If I where Holmes I would cease taking drugs if my Watson is unhappy with it. And take him as a drug instead. No. That's rubbish. Forgive me. Perhaps I didn't capture the second layer. The truth underneath. Holmes is vulnerable without his drugs but also without Watson. Am I right? Enlighten me. I think we disagree in our views of Holmes and Watson. I wish I could explain it better. My english is crab... Forgive me 2.
But alas: You weren't as fast as the last time :) Thank you very much.

aw, thank you! your thoughts are always greatly appreciated, of course. i think my view of holmes is that he considers himself above a 'normal' life for many reasons, and he picks up these bad habits as proof of that. "i'm smart enough to be a drug addict," "i'm smart enough to beat these six dudes who want to kill me," etc etc. and it gets him into trouble. also, he sees being in love as terribly ordinary, while simultaneously dangerous beyond words, so he reacts to watson with an increasing degree of panic. ah, but it changes day to day. holmes is lotsa fun to write for, for sure.
