Lovely banter. Watson's growing exasperation made me laugh, but what I enjoyed most was Holmes arguing simply for the sake of arguing when in truth, he'd already taken care of informing Mary. That seems so very, very in character for him.

I like the atmosphere you create at the beginning, and your dialogue, which is arch and witty and just lovely. It's nice to see Watson thinking about Mary, and Holmes trying to get him not to think about her (while at the same time taking care to inform her of Watson's predicament), seems right, too. I enjoyed this. :)

This is wonderful! You've managed to completely capture Ritchie!Holmes and Ritchie!Watson. It's wonderfully in character and just beautiful as a lovely little snippet of their life together. I'm glad you managed to weave Mary into this and a canon reference as well. Great job!
