Dear anon! I haven't had time to read yet and I am so, so, SO sorry. I will comment as soon as I do, but I wanted to let you know that I just haven't had a chance yet.

What a nice conclusion, to see that, even with so much still on the horizon, Molly has been able to piece together what she really wants and take steps to make the choices that will allow her to reach her full potential.

Thanks so much for sharing this story, you really fleshed out Molly within the MCU world and I liked the ensemble feel you created throughout. Great work!

Aww, thank you! I'm glad you liked that I fit her in so well and I did a good job with the story, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. If you want, I posted it on AO3 here (just got done posting the last chapter today), if you'd like to bookmark it or anything there if that interests you. Thank you so much for all the lovely comments, and I'm so sorry it took so long to reply!

ARGH, it took me an embarrassingly long time for me to realize that emphatically tapping for the next page (I was reading this on my nook) wasn't going to magically produce more story.

I like how straightforward you're being with the Molly and Sherlock romance: there is plenty enough to build that narrative throughline on without adding miscommunication (or noncommunication!) to the mix, and that is so refreshing I can't tell you. And I think Molly had an excellent point there, that if she's spending this much time wondering about another possible romantic interest, then that suggests that maybe she and Tom shouldn't be engaged right now. Not throwing Tom over for Sherlock, but realizing that if she's even asking the question of whether/how she should choose, then she's not in the saying "I do" place, and it's best to face that fact straight-on.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading Act II, when it comes into existence! Thank you for sharing Act I with us!

Exactly! I didn't want to drag it out over Act II or have her get all "Oh, should I or shouldn't I?" or even do it for Sherlock. So I'm very glad that all came through.

I put Act I on AO3 here, and I'll probably start Act II in January. I'll try and see if there's a way I can let you know about when I start posting Act II...is there a way you'd prefer for me to let you know?

Assuming you'll post Act II as a separate story, you could just create the AO3 series for both stories now, and I can subscribe to the series? Then AO3 will tell me when you update, and you won't have to scurry around notifying people individually.

If you're not posting it as a separate story -- if you add chapters to the existing Act I -- I can just subscribe to Act I on AO3, and again, AO3 will tell me when you've updated.

Well, I hadn't planned on having it as a series, since I had only wanted to have the two stories (generally I only make a series when I plan on writing three or more stories). I was just going to say Act II was inspired by Act I. But I could do a series I think. let me think for a bit on whether I want to just call it "Playing The Game" or come up with a brand new title for it.
