Another fascinating chapter, especially in regards to Molly's family secrets. I was sorry to see her and her cousin tearing each other down, and I'm glad that in your author's note you mention that they will eventually grow into a better understanding of each other. It was heartwarming to see Molly surrounded by friends and finally able to stop carrying the burdens of her older tragedies alone.

Oh yes. I have the scene plotted out in my head (it involves Coulson locking the two of them in a room with a bottle of tequila and two glasses and not letting them out until they've worked out their differences) and I'm probably going to write it out before I write out any of the rest of the fic. But yes, I wanted to make sure she was surrounded by people who cared when she finally shared what happened.

Haha, I'm useless at dates, I actually had another twenty-four hours before revals!

These are some of the gossippiest secret agents I've ever met, but I'm glad of it, because I don't watch AoS and have to be told all the things. Fortunately, between fandom osmosis and your helpful in-fic explanations, I've got a reasonable grasp on what's going on. :-)

I'm glad to know that Sharon will fare better in Act II, although I can def see where this animosity between them came from. And I can absolutely understand why Molly's mum flipped out, and why Molly chose to honour that, especially with her father's example before her.

(I'm curious, though: what became of her father's attackers? We know Molly can be motivated by revenge, but did Peggy to see it before Molly could? I feel like there's a whole 'nother story here, waiting to be told!)

...now to rebuild the org to Grandmum Peggy's ideals...!

Yeah, I know not everyone watches AoS so I had them be gossipy on purpose. ^_- It does help, doesn't it?

Molly is definitely a dutiful daughter, and that's something that will be brought up in the sequel. As will what happened to the attackers (let's just say Peggy did not take them going after her son-in-law well, and after getting the blessing of the Queen, they didn't meet a particularly pleasant end).

Yup! That's going to be part of the sequel as well!
