A really enjoyable read, I liked the tone and use of SPEC, plus a lovely sexy bit.

I cackled with pleasure throughout to see the way you told SPEC with just the right RDJ and JL character tics and smoldering sexual tension. SPEC was a canny choice, since so much of it is Holmes and Watson lying in wait, and I loved the way you integrated the supernatural elements of the Ritchieverse by having Dr. Roylott attempt to Gaslight Miss Stoner. This was enormously clever, and the rude bits were absolutely delicious. I'm delighted Watson has learned to succumb to the force of nature that is Sherlock Holmes (even the cheetah figured it out) and I'm positive he will enjoy doing so for quite some time. Brava!!!

There were occasional moments in life when I did not begrudge my limp, and this was indeed one of them. I managed to lodge my walking stick in between its gaping jaws.

I love the tone of Watson's narrative and the scene with the cheetah is a particularly lovely example. The combination of Watson, like a lion tamer, fending off the beast with a stick and Holmes, going one step further, by cowing the animal with an animalistic snarl shows their teamwork brilliantly.

A very satisfying tale! Thank you!
