How I loved Watson here. And the tempo, the vocabulary, all bring me to another epoch. And they really were cozy and lovely, just the canon I like to imagine.

Such a gentle and poignant series of portraits of emotional junctures in Watson's life, the good and the bad! His dedication in the field hospital and his weakness at the club are equally affecting. I loved the roles of Mary and Helen and the vision of the bee-stung Holmes sitting in the shade after his treatment. Beautiful! Thank you!
