Oh. Understated, chilling. This could have been three times as long and I would have devoured every word (though it's perfect as it is!). Poor, poor Laura and John and David and Sherlock. Evil Mycroft. Guh.

I absolutely love this. Heartwrenching and painful. I LOVE that everything is ugly and real at the end, that nothing's simple, that Sherlock can't just revert to his old life cleanly.

Bravo. Bravo. <3

GUH.

First of all, you've written an incredibly evocative Original character. Wow. I can totally feel Laura's longing and her fear and her pain. She knew that she might not have David forever, but how could she not hope? And David, he wants to be David and not Sherlock, but he just can't. The whole situation is so tragic and we feel every bit of it. :(

What a beautiful job going for the intensity and not shying away from the complexity. Brava!

Lovely fic. Bittersweet and hard, some nice mindfuckery. I love it.

This is really lovely, very emotional. God, I feel for all of the characters - Laura as she watches her life fall apart, Mycroft as he struggles to keep his brother safe, John as he sees glimpses of what he might have again, and Sherlock having to decide how to move forward. Well done!
