Oh, I do feel lucky! This is precisely the sort of story I love to read, and so well written too. You have a flawless prose style, dear anonymous writer - very Doylean. I loved the "worth a wound" reference ;) And your vocabulary choices, and Watson being stoic, and Holmes going pink, and the breakfast scene, and lovely Victorian smut, and... just everything, really!

Oh I missed the great reveal! Actually I knew in advance that I would (no internet this week), but it didn't make waiting any easier... You know, I believe I read and loved a story of yours just before Christmas, on AO3. I just spent a few minutes happily discovering how many others you'd written :)

Just wanted to say thanks again. I won't repeat myself - I'll only say I've just reread this story and loved it all over again! *runs off to enjoy an evening of reading* :D
