What might have been and what could have been... always fascinating. This series is no exception. So much potential for things to go well or to go wrong, for so many of our beloved characters. Well done. :)

These were really fascinating alternate universes - all very believably painted. I particularly loved how Sherlock managed to infiltrate and leave traces on all of John's different lives.

#3 was very creepy and I don't know if I am more afraid of Moriarty or Mycroft at that moment...
#4 was a very sweet interpretation of ACD canon - probably my favourite of John's other lives. :-)

All in all I really liked the little glimpses you gave us into very distinct lives of John Watson who is always more than he seems to be... :-)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed them. #3 was fun to come up with and I love seeing a darker side to John every now and again. When I wrote it I was thinking the whole time it was a Holmes story (don't know why), only to realize when it was done I had written a John story. Funny how that happens sometimes.

This is fantastic. I do like that in some cases he find somewhat suitable alternatives to Sherlock and the adrenaline rush he provides, even if they aren't quite as amazing. The one with Moriarty is my favorite, I think - absolutely chilling.

I love the idea of what would have happened to John if he hadn't run into Mike or found Sherlock in some other manner because fundamentally John is still John, even if he isn't Sherlock's John. #3 was my favorite to write, thanks!
