I'm generally not one for self-advertising, but if you're going through surgery and a long recovery, I imagine you'd like as wide a field to choose from as possible. So if I can help, I'd be glad to do so. :)

I have a vampire!Sherlock/werewolf!John AU, "Being Sherlock," that might be of interest; my fic masterlist is here, and the first two installments have podfics (the second isn't posted just yet, but I've listened to the advance copy by themusecalliope, which is excellent, and it's about to go public), with more planned.

Misc. whumpage there between the two characters, FWIW, not John-centric, so that might violate the "no Sherlock H/C," FWIW.
