Chief Medical Officer's Log, Stardate 2256.26
Today Jim decided that it would be a great idea to beam down to the damn planet with the medical team, even though we all knew that it was quite likely that the damn anti-Federation terrorist group that the Karyan government had warned us about would try to capture him--he may forget that he's the bloody captain of the best starship in the 'Fleet, but, hell, isn't it just his damned luck that he's the only one who forgets that?
We all tried to convince him to stay on the Enterprise, even that damn green-blooded hobgoblin tried (and completely failed, I must add with a certain amount of glee).
When James Tiberius Kirk decides he is going to do something, well, by God, he is going to do it, no matter what (or who) gets in his way. And, of course, this time was no damn different.
And, as usual, those damned terrorists managed to capture Jim. I have a feeling that Jim allowed them to take him, but of course he was trying to be all damned heroic--yet again--and risk his own damn life to keep his crew out of harm's way...I think he's giving that damned Vulcan ideas, that or those two were separated at birth.
And damn it, there he goes, being his damn fool self and trying to get out of Sickbay without my say-so. If it weren't for the Hippocratic Oath, I'd let him show off his idiocy by allowing him to faint on the Bridge in front of his crew. You know what, to blazes with the Hippocratic Oath, it'll do him a damn sight more good than harm to faint on the Bridge.
Besides, Spock'll be there. He'll make himself useful and catch Jim before he gives himself a damned concussion. And if he doesn't, well, then, I've got ways of making him regret not catching the Captain, even if he's part Vulcan.
