And I just saw "Elizabeth" on Bravo the other day with your girl Cate. I immediately thought of you. Stupid Gwyneth Paltrow in her stupid pink prom dress!!!! Cate was robbed that year. I still maintain that Oscar voters just confused the actresses who played in Elizabethan era films opposite Joseph Fiennes. :P

Whoooo! Elizabeth is so the bomb diggity (because yes, I can use such words to describe a period piece about the Virgin Queen. ;)) Oof, that year was tough. At least Elizabeth won Best Makeup. I mean, clearly, it was crappy on acting and whatnot, but when they painted her face white...well that means Oscar! And Gwyneth's dress was totally a prom dress. Cate had that awesome hummingbird thing. *nods* Bah. Robbed! (And they gave it to Judi Dench for the 9 minutes of Elizabeth, too). Buggers.
