Waldsen love and Little J (paintings) + Kevin from Ben 10

An acrylic painting of Serena Vander Woodsen and Blair Waldorf for novak_fan. I'm sorry I spent so much time doing Chuck/Dan stuff and not making more Waldsen goodies like the Space AU, and that I still haven't done anything about the Sharpay/Gabriella, high school musical fic.

Thanks. I just bought a new sketchbook so hopefully I'll be drawing more... I want to try drawing Dan but I don't know how well that would work since I'm better with girls and monsters than guys.

Aww, the drawing of Blair and Serena is so cute! I love the fact Blair's still wearing a headband, haha.

hehe yeah, Blair's headband is my favourite part of the painting too... It's such a Blair thing hehe. She always looks so cute with them on.

these are so beautiful! i go to architecture school and i have a teacher that would worship you lol she just adores anything acrylic painting related, and she's always complaining students don't use acrylic paint nearly enough (i'm one of those hee)

i took a quick glance at your tags, i liked a bunch of them! and you're writing a sharpay/gabriella fic! i think i should worship you hahaha i'm gonna go through your journal now, excuse moi

Wow, thank you. And here I think of myself as someone who can barely draw (added with the fact that I'm often too lazy to pay attention to getting the perspective right). Architecture school? heh, sounds tough. Me, I'm a social science major, but lately I've been thinking that I should go into graphics instead once I graduate. Anyway, I like using acrylic ( ... )

oh please, you can draw! i had a class that taught us a method to draw perspective right. but it's boring and takes too much time. i doubt anyone even uses it. i read you can train your eye to check if the perspective is right. you can either look at your drawing from the other side of the paper, through some light (when somethings not right, you're supposed to notice it) or wait a few days before checking your drawing again (cause then your brain won't be accustomed to it anymore ( ... )

Oh, well the second option happens with manips for me... though usually I just send it to my manip beta so she can look it over cause i can't be bothered waiting... and the first method doesn't work anyway, the paper I use is too thick for light to go through ( ... )
