Fic Post! Steve/Bucky Big Bang

I wrote a Steve/Bucky fic for the big bang! I'm afraid it's the same scenario that's been written about 50,000+ times since I started working on this back in May, but here's my version anyway. My artist was great to work with, my beta readers were incredibly helpful, and it was a good experience all around, so I'm glad I gave writing in Marvel-

I loved this! It was so much like a totally canon continuation of what happened once everything was said and done. I think you had Steve's stoic determination down perfectly, and his emotions were all twisted and angsty and stuff, just great. And I loved your Bucky too, how he was dealing with what had been inside him and what he had done. Your writing is awesome, as usual.

You're probably wondering what the hell, does this chick have a life? I do! I was just poking through LJ because I haven't been here for a while (you either, obviously), and I saw this. I was super excited because I just watched this movie for the first time two days ago.

Ahh, it's so good to hear from you and to know that you liked this story!! I'm glad Steve felt right, because that took some work - that confident goodness is so different from most of the characters I'm drawn to write, lol. Glad you liked Bucky here, too, and that you poked through LJ and found this, and especially right after you saw the movie. It's sad to see that fandom has "moved on" from LJ for the most part (Tumblr sucks balls for fandom purposes, for the most part), but I like to come back and take a look at what's still here once in a while, too.
