That's fucking ridiculous. They would probably never call a MALE musician "too fat" to have his own music video. I am seriously seething right now. It's such bullshit that there is this practically impossible standard of beauty for women, but none exists for men.

Oh yeah, I can think of PLENTY of heavy male musicians who never catch flak for it. Even some of the previously buff/trim objects of my pathetic adoration are getting heavier with age (Peter Steele, Till Lindemann, etc.), and you better believe no one's trying to cut their bodies out of videos. Fuck, if you see the video for Rammstein's "Mann Gegen Mann", Till is in what amounts of a latex diaper and some weird-ass boots. Clearly no one thought it necessary to censor his body, and he's probably three times Amanda's size :P

She's so pretty, that makes me sad D: I love that she stood up for herself though, even though I doubt they'll learn anything from it.
