Is anyone else absolutely furious by Dalton McGuinty's new proposal of building a gas power-plant in the undeveloped land of the cherry beach area?

The wind mill must not have been that big or efficient, because the one at the CNE can provide electricity for 250 homes. Plus it isn't that big, it's quiet, and most people consider it kind of pretty.

Geothermal heating works wonders, pays itself off in a year and it can be done to any home.

And Jack Layton is the MP of the area affected, considering he's not stepped up for the interests of the people in our riding since the last election, he BETTER do something and he certainly has the authority.

he can speak up on it, but for the most part it is a provincial matter.
just like how the federal government has very little to say about the health care and education system of the provinces, they're provincial jurisdiction.
