Once upon a time there were two.

One who didn't know any better and one who knew all to well.

Once upon a time there were three.

One who was destined to become a hero, one who was destined to save the planet, and one who was destined to save them all.

There was no knight in shining armor and there was no white stallion for him to ride upon. There was no fairy god mother, no dress sewn by mice and no pumpkins that turned into carriages. There was only sweat and blood and carnage.

Once upon a time there were two young men...

One who was everything the other wanted to become, and one who held all the innocence the other had lost.

There was also a young woman knew to much about the world and to little all at the same time.

Their destiny was intertwined it seemed. There would be no stolen kisses in the moon light. No slaying of dragons and no royal receptions. There would be no glass slipper and no prince there to make sure the shoe fit.

Two of them would die but not for any romantic reasons. One would die to save another, and one would die to save the world.

And one would live.

There would be no happy endings to this fairy tale. Just guilt, regret and sadness.

Once upon a time there was one.

One who wanted forgiveness but thought he didn't deserve it. One who hid his face behind a mask of indifference. One who had fought hard for the dreams he had once so foolishly had to come true.

No, there would be there no happy ending.

There would be forgiveness and there would be healing.

Once upon a time there was one.

Who's heart had been broken and finally shattered. Who found the strength to continue on and find his own way in the world.

One who was strong enough to let the light back into his heart.

One who was strong enough to remember and to know that love and friendship never really dies.
