i really felt this as i have experienced people passing unexpectedly. a lot of times, there is a need for them to reassure us, the ones left behind, that they're okay and that we're okay, even with out them.

for jenny, this dream was that reassurance for her and i think also a bit of a coming-to-terms with the fact that they're really gone, gone from this physical plane but not gone from her heart.

for some reason or other, i really liked this description in her dream that describes the passing from physical to beyond: "I look down to where our hands interlock, her hand looks transparent against mine, I can see my own hand underneath." it seems that within her dream, this is the moment of realization that her parents have left.
