Your moderators, kindergoth and bookaddict88, are excited to announce that the official opening date of the holiday_wishes community for the 2017-2018 holiday season will occur on:

Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 9am EST (GMT-5)

Hi! Double posting what I wrote below, just to make sure you see it:

We are not moving to DW. Neither kindergoth nor I are on LJ (or DW) much these days; we basically only come for this community. This is where Holiday Wishes started, so we're just going to stay here, unless something happens and we are forced to move.

That said, there's really no such thing as an "official" version of Holiday Wishes! We did not come up with this idea, and it doesn't belong to us. While we aren't affiliated with the "unofficial" version on Dreamwidth, we wish it all the best, and if you'd like to see Holiday Wishes flourish there I encourage you to go help them out. I see there's a post up there looking for an admin and moderators. :)
