Also I have to say I came very close to scrapping my story and starting with Ben watching Johnny at the Cup of China gala. And reading what you did with that I am extremely glad I didn't.
I really loved this. Loved your Ben, loved your Johnny and loved your Tanith - great dialog and emotions all around. And Tanith naming a drink Unintentional Lift: you totally get bonus points for that.
And I was in love right here: That's what Ben is picturing, the fluid precision of muscles, not the blue-lipped dick-floppy mess you'd actually be if you tried to skate naked. It's about the idea of his body. Ben's thoughts during this whole scene just kill me. I would love to see the USFSA spin on thier getting deported for kissing at the gala!
