[The PCD crashes to the ground and flickers on, skidding away from Tieria.
He looks ragged and out of breath, staring severely at something (or someone) off screen. His eyes weren't the only thing pointed in that direction, as it seems that he'd finally found something to waste his bullets on.]
God dammit.

[ This is all Hope is able to utter before the girl disappears from their sight. Everyone has their own battles to fight, so it's not quite over, but what matters is that they at least managed to start off well.
There comes the silence. Although a bit... hesitantly and irregularly, flames around them reappear, which sends an uneasy feeling through his spine, but Hope doesn't want to move just yet, wishing to make use of the moment while it lasts. As he sits and lets the healing magic flow, his grip on Tieria gentle but firm, he closes his eyes, just for a second and listens to the sound of his own heart, beating wildly.
Has it been going like that for the entire time? Hope has no idea. ]

No. As he closed his eyes, and rested on Hope, the only feeling Tieria had was a very warm one. He was grateful to have these people here for him, and he had no idea how that even happened. But there they were, non the less, and he wasn't going to waste what they had given him.
Tieria's eyes opened a fraction, then closed again before he whispered.] Thank you.

I'm not the one who got us out of there.
[ Try is a good word, actually. Motions are slow and careful, there's no pressure whatsoever.
They had to get away, but there was nothing they couldn't handle, after all, even if things went wrong at some point. ]
L-let's go.

He still had a bit of a shake, but he was able to walk (mostly) on his own for the latter of the trip there. Tieria couldn't even hold his hand steady... Hopefully that went away soon, he didn't want to cause excess worry.
He was just glad they'd managed to find a quiet spot there, away from most people. Tieria knew he looked worse for wear, and he didn't need others staring to remind him. Besides... He didn't want to entertain prying eyes and their questions.]

The building was much more crowded than the last time Hope had seen it, which was good; less people left out of harm's way, the better. It was a miracle they came upon a corner relatively quiet, and Hope wasted no time in helping his friend sit down. He didn't join him right away, his eyes keep searching for something or someone, and once he finally slid to the ground against a wall, he let out a disappointed sigh. She wasn't there.
Feeling another wave of dark thoughts swarm through his mind, he glanced in Tieria's direction, his attention instantly switching to the injured friend. Gently, he placed a hand on his shoulder. ]
Feeling better?

When Hope looked his way, Tieria glanced away then back, not wanting him to have noticed he was looking at him. He didn't want Hope to feel awkward or obligated to talk about it, especially if he didn't want to.
Still, he couldn't help but smile at the touch.]
Worlds better, believe me. [His voice was also a bit stronger, however it was still barely above a whisper.]

He doesn't make a move to retrieve it right away, huffing quietly, resting his head against a cold wall, eyes closed. While he might appear to have fallen asleep for a second, he's not able to allow his consciousness to drift away just yet. ]
… Safe… Just… a… while longer… [ He will need to head out soon, he's made a promise. But now? Now he could barely control his voice, much less the rest of his body. ]
