You are bound and determined to make me interested in shows I never watch --- first Primeval now BSG.

For what little I did watch of BSG Saul Tigh was one of my favorite characters ... I love his voice in this :-)

you need to spread those DVDs around- if you stack them on top of each other they breed...

for something that was a flash 'hey, let's make ianto a cylon!" to 7,000 words later? what is my damage?

and it took me all that time to kill Gwen? i must be slipping.

Haha..yeah, it did take you a while to kill Gwen in this one. Off day? *winks*

Love the idea of Ianto as a Cylon though...I always kind of liked the Cylons anyway, having Ianto as one is just icing on the cake LOL

i think i've decided it took so long because i wanted to give gwen every possible chance to be utterly hateful before offing her. I mean, she got to be a bitch to Martha and then she killed of Agent Johnson and her entire squad. And don't forget, she killed Rhys then let the 456 eat him. in the end, her death was a relief...

i admit, the very thought of a real Torchwood/BSG crossover makes me cringe; but i guess i decided if i take both shows at their sloppy ends then i could come up with something interesting at the end.

rhys had to die to show just how far gwen would go to... hell, never mind that- i killed him because i wanted to put gwen in as negative a light as possible.

*claps hands in glee* This is awesome! I love how you took Daniel and used him, unlike stupid Ronald Moore who *laughed* when people assumed Kara's dad was Daniel. You merged the BSG universe with the Torchwood one brilliantly. And yeah! Ianto gets to live, and Gwen is dead - and in such a brilliant manner. I feel bad at how naive Lois is, but she should really get a clue. Nice use of the Doctor. Martha giving up was pretty impressive.

I also get a kick out the fact that Ianto can keep coming back, even when he dies, thanks to the Cylon tech. It's pretty awesome also that they are also leaving Earth and letting Cardiff under the protection of UNIT.

Thanks for the lovely study break reading... can't wait until Friday at noon, when it is all over!

figured someone that understood 'the cult of daniel' would bet a giggle out of this. since bsg is the far distant past, why couldn't the five be smart enough to bury daniel's genetic material in the coding for future 'birth'?

and john/cavel was just too damn smart and evil to just give up- he would have had a backup plan and tory was enough an idiot to offer him a process.

lois came across as utterly naive and all she saw was a cold gwen doing what needed to be done- something we've seen jack done. that and i thought she was an idiot. and martha needed a bit of torture, it's required that shit happens to that woman.

yeah, jack still leaves- just with a better plan and a base star... and ianto.
