Love this! I've been watching Primeval on and off, and this is just the perfect crossover.

it seemed like an appropriate cross over, i mean both shows suffer from kill 'em rather than invest in better writing.

that, and getting a chance to off gwen... twice.

people probably don't because aren't the two shows sort of like the star trek/star wars split?

the butterfly in brazil defintely had the right idea. you were right about primeval being another show that i lost interest in because of (pay attention rtd to this part) death instead of a storyline. another thing rtd might want to think about is primeval was just canceled.
i was wondering how liam meet ianto, a seqeul maybe? more torchwood/primeval?

it made sense to x-over the two shows since they suffered the same shortfalls. that and it gave me a chance to kill gwen for no apparent reason. twice.

since ianto doesn't remember meeting becker, it would be difficult to explain. unless we had some sort of reenactment...

How adorably sweet! Nice use of Primeval in this; Ianto was very awesome in this as well. Best of all, you killed Gwen - twice. *g*

The last bit with the rings is very nice fluff as well. Though, I do feel bad for Ianto and him having to figure out what else changed.

yup. didn't even have to shoe horn. well, the primeval cast mostly acted as a plot device, but of course we should really say it was well thought out and required to make the story flow.

but yeah, offing her twice- that was the icing.

Well... is that any different from a normal Primeval episode?

I'm kidding... mostly. it's a show with an interesting idea, but I find the execution not always that great.

offing Gwen is always fun. In the next chapter of "Tosh and Ianto take over the world" we'll have an update on her "ambassadorial" status. *snicker*

i kinda put primeval s3 in the same boat as TW s3, they both suffered from the we've no clue so let's just kill 'em all syndrome.

ah alpha omega, it could be a world that buries pets with the owners when they die, or maybe after they stop being cute they get sold to another society that thinks they taste good?

Love it. I've watched Primeval off and on, but not really fanatical about it. Love the idea of a crossover! The butterfly definitely had the right idea. LOL

primeval spent an awful lot of its budget on special effects and a very small amount on it's story (what was your excuse RTD?)
