It's great to see Martha and that the Doctor is still taking her on trips with him. I adore the glimpse of home life we get with Ianto and Franklin. And I love the fact that Ianto feels discomfort with the TARDIS and the Doctor. It's so in line with everything that he has experienced and I like that he's not comfortable with what the Doctor represents to him.

as the 'rebound' companion; martha gets a lot a repeat business from the doctor.

i imagine that for Ianto, that grinding TARDIS sound causes the same reaction many of us have to air raid sirens- instant fear.

well, he's older and been through the ringer (as the saying goes) with his sanity mostly intact; so he handles most situations calmly even if internally he'd like to run away screaming.
