I got into Seattle last night for the win. On the flight down a few people asked if I was an artist (which had me a bit confused). Flying on United was a more hobotastic experience than I had expected. I had dinner with W last night, it was interesting. We had f00d at a greek tapas place and it was like rich people food (small portions, high prices

As far as star alliance goes:
- Air Canada is relatively expensive but has decent seats and in-flight on-demand entertainment. Non-alcoholic liquids are free.
- US Airways is cheap but has decent seats and no entertainment. Non-alcoholic liquids are $2 so bring a water bottle. They will provide free water if you indicate you are ill.
- United is cheap and has awful seats but does have movies. Non-aloholic liquids are free.

I haven't tried any other airlines recently because I'm collecting aeroplan points. Southwest looks promising, but does not fly to Canada.
