Well, I've granted a two year extension, so that should have you covered [g]

I've started a story, but it got bogged down in real life... A two-year extension should do ... or the 15-hour flight I've got coming up in two weeks time...

Well, I've changed my story a bit. I've started on it though. But it's kind of not just a HL/Holby thing now. I mean, it doesnt' have to be set in Holby does it?

because it is a HL/Holby/Grey's thing now.

AHHH! Somebody else writing Highlander/Grey's! It makes me very happy not to be the only one! And no, it doesn't have to be set at Holby. Mine wasn't. And it's not like we have rules or anything anyways!

I'm looking forward to how you mesh the three, and the fact that you're actually a medical professional, your hospital set fic will actually be technically correct!

That's what almost kept me from writing my Grey's/HL stories, and what keeps me from even attempting House. But Grey's is more about relationships really, so it's easier to be really vague (and I'm as vague as I can possibly be!) on the medical stuff [g] House, on the other hand, is much more set around the disease of the week. I didn't feel quite so bad after I watched the extras on the first season DVDs when the writers explained they don't know anything either, and just write MEDICAL MEDICAL MEDICAL MEDICAL MEDICAL MEDICAL where there's a medical bit, and later on their medical writers go in and fill in the appropriate details. Mentally when I write Grey's now, I'm thinking MEDICAL MEDICAL! I wish!
