My computer's power cord, which has survived four and a half years of heavy use and travel, finally started giving up the ghost a couple of weeks ago, so I have bitten the bullet and bought a new one. My phone is out of power and I forgot to bring the recharger with me to school, and then when I tried to plug in my laptop the socket kind of exploded at me and now both plug and socket are kind of burnt and smell funny.
