Today I managed to get my finger stuck in a bit of the door to the storage unit, which hurt like a motherfucker, and I still hit 10,000 words (total since starting it on Monday) in the new fic.

Haha, it wasn't a serious injury, thankfully. XD I am kind of in awe of myself, though! 10k a week is - not my usual writing speed, that's for sure.

Alas, I doubt it. XD Once this new thing is done I need to get back to my giant WIP and its accompanying side stories, and this writing pace + wordcount is incredibly unusual for me. ("Long" fic for me tends to be more along the lines of 2-3,000 words. Although if stuff like this keeps happening, I might have to change my tune...)
