You are really desperate for that Info on the Shinsengumi, aren't you. If you want info on them from the Ishin perspective, watch the Kenshin OAV. It covers the Ikedaya Affair

If you thought the 1st Kenshin season was worthless... (like I did) don't even bother watching the 3rd and 4th.

Only the Shishio arc stays true to the manga (which the whole of was very good) but the rest is just a bunch of crap writing and worse dialog.

But the 2nd season is so good it makes up for all that crap.

I still want to see the Jinchuu arc made into an anime. T.T It's the best part of the manga! Enishi is such a COOL bad guy!
