[Hohenheim is seen crouching low to the ground, his head bowed low and body faced away from the camera, merely showing his blond ponytail and the ends of his glasses in view. To the common eye this was merely an older gentleman, but to those that knew him, this was Van Hohenheim, the human bodied Philosopher Stone.

[Hm? What was that?]

Somarium?

[He blinks, bewildered slightly as he scratches his head and gives off a small sigh.]

Never heard of such a place.

[Mumbles to himself in thought as he turns away from the device.]

Perhaps this is another world beyond~

It doesn't sound like anybody hears of this place before appearing.

[He tilts his head.]

Yeah, I do know it's definitely another world.

[hohenheim]

[Hohenheim nods in understanding. With this in mind, the alchemist can move forward and look for a way home or at least his boys.]

I see, thank you for your help. My name is Van Hohenheim, Hohenheim works just fine.

[ He's seen the broadcast and was about to respond with something helpful when he suddenly stops. But too late, Al's already pressed the respond button, so now all you're getting is the face of a large suit of armor. ]

[ Al's not too sure, but you look really familiar. But it couldn't be... could it...? ]

[ Then he hears the word "Amestris" and that's enough to knock some sense into him ]

D-dad...?

[ But not a whole lot of sense, unfortunately... ]

[Hohenheim's trained ears immediately know the voice after having traveled with Alphonse for a short time in his suit of armor. It's unfortunate what his boy's have suffered in his absence and this only makes it harder to bare knowing he is responsible for his son's soul being trapped within one of his antique suits of armor.

With a heavy sigh, Van puts on a weary smile and waves.]

Hello son, glad to see you are safe.

[He did not know what else to say so he merely waited for the barrage of questions Alphonse might begin with.]

[ You look exactly like Alphonse remembers you. And he means exactly... ]

[ ... Not that he has that good of a memory of you, come to think of it. Since the last time Al saw you, he was still in his human body and it was in a picture. ]

[ He is, however, a little taken aback by the fact that you know it's him. ]

Y-you recognize me?

[Hohenheim can't really say the same for you, Alphonse. Last time he saw you in a human body you were almost up to his waist. Now? Well, you are exactly how he remembers.

Softly he nods, his father smiling gently.]

Yes, I saw you not too long ago now.

[His brows furrow some as he bows his head a little bit. He still cannot help but feel responsible for all this.]

[Hohenheim smiles some, it isn't obvious, but he can tell this gentlemen isn't much for socializing.]

This place, Somarium. Why have we been brought here?

[He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck with a small nod.]

That is correct, my sons are Edward and Alphonse Elric. You have not heard or seen of them by chance?

[He definitely has some sympathy here and he frowns.]

I'm sorry, no. But there are a lot of people here I do not know of. It's a possibility they are here.

[hohenheim]

[Hohenheim merely shakes his head and waves the fellow male off.]

They are strong boys, worse things have been thrown at them~

However, that does not mean I will give up the search for them in this strange world.

It's called a Dreamberry. You're in a dream world called Somarium. [Why does he look so familiar. She's trying to think if she knows him.]

Somarium; never in my many years of travelling have I heard of such a place. Tell me young lady, have you met two boys by the names of Edward or Alphonse Elric?

[Gives off a strained smile.]

They are my sons and I must consult them if they are trapped in this odd world as well.

[chokowaffle]

Ah, yes I have!

[She found her smile falling a little when she heard they word "sons". Nonetheless, she'll smile to him.]

Ed... went back home but Al's a good friend of mine. I'm sure Al will be happy to see you, though.

[hohenheim]

[The knowledge that Ed was sent home while Al was left here alone was insufferable. How could he leave his younger brother alone in a place like this? Sighing, the father of the Elric boy's nods.]

I see, that is sad news but I am glad to know Al has friends amongst this place.
