Name: Gloria. I don’t really have a nickname, seeing as you can’t really make anything out of Gloria, but some of my friends do call me Glor, and that’s perfectly fine with me.
Age: I turned 16 this may.
Favourite Subject at Hogwarts: Probably, Defence Against The Dark Arts. I always did better in subjects with practical purposes & it is an extremely fascinating subject.
How do you spend your leisure time at Hogwarts?: Reading books of all kinds, (maybe even some books on Hogwarts history because it is undeniably interesting to read but not study), hanging out in the common room with fellow house mates just relaxing and gossiping & definitely checking out the eye candy in the corridors.
If you could store one memory in a Pensieve, what would it be?: The memory of my graduation lunch. It was fun, laughter, happiness, everything into one lunch. Although there were hints of sadness at the fact we aren’t going to see each other much longer, overall, it was an extremely good memory, something I would like to remember forever.
If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into?: This is a difficult question, because I’m scared of so many things, yet I can’t think of something I’m most scared of. I have a feeling my boggart would change every now & then(if possible), to what I fear most at that phase in my life. For now, actually I think it would be me holding my gcse cert with the word, ‘FAIL’, seeing as I’ll only be getting my gcse results next year. But if it is a permanent fear, then I think it would be me all alone, without family & friends, because that is one thing very important to me & without it, well, that’s my fear.
What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?: Same as above, I think it would change every now & then as well, and now, definitely would be me holding my gcse cert with great results. If it’s a permanent desire though, probably me just being happy, surrounded by family & friends, living life as full as possible.
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?: Get off the stupid computer, and study! Get rid of the stupid computer because its distracting you from your studies. Learn to prioritise & start studying. You’re intelligent, just extremely lazy. You just need to study & you’ll do extremely well in your studies.
Would you have put your name in the Goblet of Fire?: Yes, I believe in taking risks. And, if I’m chosen as a champion, that would mean I was actually good enough a witch to take part. And well, if I’m not chosen then at least I know I tried , & I wouldn’t keep asking myself ‘What If….’ For the rest of my life.
Harry Potter: Hero, Attention-Seeker, or Normal Kid in a Bad Situation? And Why?: Normal Kid in a Bad Situation, and Hero definitely. It can be seen from the start that all Harry wanted was a normal life, one without all the drama, and one away from the spotlight. But because he was placed into this life, with all the drama, he is a hero, as he always manages to come out of all the bad situations having done great, and he doesn’t choose to run away from these situations, but handles them really well.
Voldemort: Evil, Genius, or just plain Misunderstood? And why?: Evil. Voldermort was a normal kid, in a bad state with a bad past. But that didn’t mean he had to be this evil, so he is definitely not misunderstood. He was a good wizard, I’m sure everyone would agree, but he didn’t need to use it all for evil. He could have used his powers for good, but since he chose the evil route, all on his own choice, as there was no gun to his head, definitely evil.
Under what circumstances would you use an Unforgivable Curse?: If the person in question really deserved it, for doing something extremely horrible, or if my life or the lives of my family & friends were under extreme threat. Definitely not my first choice for punishment, but it all depends on the situation at hand.
What single quality goes the furthest in defining who you are?: I’m a happy-go-lucky person, nothing really upsets me, but if I am upset, I usually get over it quite quickly, this makes me cheerful more often than not, and maybe easy to get along with.
What makes a person respectable?: The choices made by that person. There are choices for everything we do. The tasks we are given & the situations we are placed in all have choices. The choices we make, show who we really are, and whether the person is worthy of your respect or not. (yes, i know Dumbledore said something like this, but i think it's really true.)
If you had to choose between your family, your friends, and your own beliefs, what would you do?: Although friends & family is very important to me, my beliefs are extremely important as well, and I believe a true friend, and a family who cares, would like me to have beliefs as well.
What do you look for in a friend?: Someone loyal, who will stand by me no matter what (Sorta like Ron & Hermione with Harry), cheerful, nobody likes moody friends, sense of adventure, so that she’ll be willing to try out new things with me, brave, & basically she has to be fun to be with.
Put the following words in order of importance to you: Duty, Family, Friendship, Honor, Justice, Power, Tradition Family/Friends, Justice, Honour, Duty, Power, Tradition.
If you could have either a well paid easy job that did not task you mentally, or a lower paying job which gave you the freedom to pursue your interests, which would you choose?: Well paid easy job. If it’s an easy job, I probably wouldn’t spend that much time on the job, & would be able to use the free time I have to pursue my interests. The money from the job would also be able to help in my interests.
What qualities do you possess from each of the four houses?:
Gryffindor: bravery, sense of adventure & strong value of friendship? I am brave in certain aspects, and definitely have a sense of adventure, I believe in trying new things, and I value friendship so extremely much. It is one of the most important things in my life.
Slytherin: Uh, I can’t really think of anything much, except maybe I tend to be selfish with my originality? I hate it when people copy me about things that matter so maybe that makes me selfish at times.
Ravenclaw: Intelligence, I hope. I definitely enjoy intelligent conversations, doing crossword puzzles, sudoku and basically any puzzles that make use of the brain.
Hufflepuff: I’m a family-oriented person? Haha, I have no idea. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?: My lazyness. I would definitely be able to do so much better in everything if I could just get rid of my lazyness.
If you were an animagus, what would you turn into? (Assuming that the animal reflects the person, it is not chosen.): A dog maybe? I can be the friend anyone needs, and I’m loyal to people around me.
In which house do you think you belong, and why?: Maybe Gryffindor? Seeing as I believe in justice, to treat people the way you want to be treated, and I have a strong sense of friendship, and I really have no idea, haha :P it’s up to you voters!
How did you find us? If it was from a post say where and who posted it.: I searched Rupert Grint as an interest, and found this, thought it was pretty interesting so decided to look through, and voila!
