Sort Away!

Name: Sarafu
Age: 14

Favourite Subject at Hogwarts:
I enjoy Ancient Runes; I don't really enjoy English letters that much, they're not very pretty and quite bland sometimes. (Except for 'q' and 'r'. And maybe 'p'...) And Runes have a very strange background, I did a bit of reading about it, and apparently they were revealed by Odin while he was hanging upside down from a tree, because he just simply wanted wisdom. So he gave himself to himself so he could find out all of this. Curiouser and curiouser...
How do you spend your leisure time at Hogwarts?:
I'd probably go around and try and figure the whole place out; it just spills intrigue. Maybe I'd be in a club as well, though I'm not entirily sure which. I'd probably just ask a friend if I could tag along with them to something.
If you could store one memory in a Pensieve, what would it be?
I don't know if I would. Why would I store a memory in a Pensieve? There's nothing I'd like to perserve for too long.
If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into?:
I have no idea how it'd represent itself, but I think it'd turn into the truth. The truth somehow scares me. All in all, the truth is the very seams of the world, and if I knew the truth...well, I really don't know if I would like to.
What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?:
I'd see me seeing me in the Mirror of Erised...No, I'd probably see myself and all my friends, who are grown up and all happy and well. At least, I like to think that's what I'd like to see. :\\
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?
I already have, with the help of a time-turner, and everything's swell.
Would you have put your name in the Goblet of Fire?:
Definately not. Well, perhaps. It'd really depend on what I felt like, and who was in for Hogwarts. If it was all people from other houses, I'd at least like to show that my house is better than them. I think I'd like to enter into it, but I wouldn't like to come out of it. Just to show I could do it, and never show that I never really did want to. The money would be kind of nice if my name did come out, though...
Harry Potter: Hero, Attention-Seeker, or Normal Kid in a Bad Situation? And Why?
He has a Hero-complex, so he could be seen as a hero. I'd say normal kid in a bad situation, but he isn't a normal kid once he's been through the bad situation. I don't think he's an attention-seeker, seeing as JK Rowling kind of wrote the book from his perspective, so we see his thoughts, but I might've thought otherwise if she hadn't.
Voldemort: Evil, Genius, or just plain Misunderstood? And why?
He is wonderful, even though he was such a menace upon the society of Britain. He was left in a orphanage, he was left with as much as Harry was, yet he still rose above that and did what he believed in. Sure, he did it for what many people think is morally offensive, but life is just a matter of perspective, no?
Under what circumstances would you use an Unforgivable Curse?:
If it was a desperate situation. You know, someone was threatening a pet/friend (or pot plant) or some definate action had to be taken into my own hands...
What single quality goes the furthest in defining who you are?:
Hrm...Individuality? It's really been what I've done all my life. In fact, if the truth wasn't my boggart, seeing me as a normal person would probably scare me the most. I just can't stress the importance I put on doing what you want, not what other people want you to do. But at the same time, not doing what other people want you to do, because you think it'll effect what you want. x__x
What makes a person respectable?:
The respect given to them? The lengths they take to achieve what they want.
If you had to choose between your family, your friends, and your own beliefs, what would you do?
I'd choose! Hrm...I wouldn't go for family, but I'd be stuck between my friends and my beliefs. Right now I'd probably veer towards three friends, and not the rest...does that mean I can have some of my beliefs, too? Am I allowed to mix and match?
What do you look for in a friend? :
Resourceful, kind, and supportive. Someone who really gets you. Not something who tells you what to do, but someone who just knows you terribly well. And someone who trusts you, and you trust them. Of course you can't just start off with either of those with a friend, so I generally stick to my old friends.
Put the following words in order of importance to you: Duty, Family, Friendship, Honor, Justice, Power, Tradition
Friendship
Honor
Power
Justice
Tradition
Family
Duty
If you could have either a well paid easy job that did not task you mentally, or a lower paying job which gave you the freedom to pursue your interests, which would you choose?
Err...Can I rotate frequently? .____. I get days when I just want to be a clockwork orange and do what I'm meant to, but other days I feel like doing what I want to do...
What qualities do you possess from each of the four houses?:
Gryffindor - Sometimes I can be a bit adventurous and even reckless...
Ravenclaw - I enjoy the fact that being smart makes you feel better than others sometimes. :]
Hufflepuff - I see myself as pretty loyal to my friends. At least, the ones who seem pretty loyal to me...
Slytherin - Sometimes I get quite ambitious when doing certain things. I think, "I could be the best" and somehow convince myself to try to be the best.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?:
Does that include my home? Because I'd like to live in the US, because all the HP conferrences happen there. DD:
If you were an animagus, what would you turn into? (Assuming that the animal reflects the person, it is not chosen.):
I always find it hard to figure this one out...but after a while, I decided on an olm. Only with built-in-able-to-survive-sunlight mechanisms. I wrote about a whole page on how I am like an olm once...I love it's serpentine appearence, how it has this electro-magnetic way of living, like how I exert my intuition, and how it can't see well, and how I don't pick up people's emotions well...
In which house do you think you belong, and why?:
I've always seen myself as a Slytherin, because that's always what I turn out to be in those online quizzes. Though looking back on my answers, I seem kinda Ravenclawish. :\
How did you find us? If it was from a post say where and who posted it.:
I was browsing communities by interest. I was actually planning on doing some Snaping...
