It looks like you're currently not a member of this main community. For that reason you're going to have go through the returning members procedure. It's as simple as commenting to a post by your prefects and possibly providing a link to your sorting application.

I want to stay. I followed all the rules about hiatus and even put a hiatus banner on my profile page. Shouldn't that have allowed me to stay part of the communities? I was told that doing so would keep me safe and part of the community.

Hi,

Unfortunately for the termly member cut we don't check the hiatus banners in everyone's profile as the community is so simple to rejoin and the criteria to be 'active' is one activity in a four month period including things such as sorting.

The hiatus banners are useful for members of the community if they want to know why they haven't seen a member/heard from a member for a while. It also allows members to announce that they are taking a break from HiH.

I acknowledge the information in the userinfo is slightly out of date and I'll see about getting it updated.
