Welcome to HOGWARTSICON’S 20in20 CHALLENGE!
▸ What is a 20-in-20, you ask?
20in20 challenges are those where you have 20 days to complete 20 icons around a topic (character, movie/book, etc) using a table of 20 prompts. Typically there are 10 prompts that stand alone, 5 prompts that are related in some way, and 5 artist’s choice prompts that allow you the chance to experiment.
▸ What do I get for doing this?
Yes, let’s just come to the bottom line from jump. XD If you complete the challenge by the deadline given to you, and to the specifications of the prompts within the table that you chose, then you get 4pts per icon, plus 10 extra points for completing the challenge! YAY POINTS! *party over here; party over there*
▸ Now I’m interested! Tell me more. Am I limited to only icons?
Unfortunately, yes. This is an icons only challenge. There will be other opportunities to do creative things with other graphic types (weekly prompts, for example), but given the nature of this and the fact that we’re just adding it back, we’re going to keep this like one would normally expect. The great thing, though, is that these will not be judged, so feel free to experiment and grow in your icon making skills. It just makes your chances over at sortedchallenge that much better, right? ^_~
▸ Okay, but how do I sign up?
Simply copy the textbox below into a new comment thread and fill it out! The HI mod will respond when you’re approved and inform you of your deadline (20 days from their response). Be sure not to post your icons until you’re approved or you will not get the extra points. Likewise, you don’t get the extra points if you post them after your deadline has passed.

▸ Are there posting requirements?
Yes! To keep things clean, please post 20in20 challenges separately. Posts should include “20in20” in the subject line, and should utilize the table textboxes provided below. Also, please be sure to use the chal: 20in20 tag when you post along with your normal tags!
▸ Do you add the extra points, or do I?
Please add the extra points like you do for weekly prompt points, by having a line that says +10pts for 20in20. If you do not meet your deadline, a mod will comment and inform you that you will not receive the extra points and will ask you to edit the post accordingly. But as I’m sure you’re all fab planners, this won’t be a problem, right?! *wink*
▸ How often can I do this for extra points?
As of right now, the mods and I have agreed that we will only allow one 20in20 to be completed per month per person. This will be counted based upon the month you post in as that is where the points will be applied. So if you sign up on the 25th of Month A, but post on the 6th of Month B, points will go to Month B and you cannot sign up for another until Month C. Please use this information to plan accordingly.
▸ Can I mix and match tables?
No. You must complete all prompts from one table only. Mixing and matching kind of defeats the point, loves *grin*
