Hey Kate!

There is only one visible variation between banners two, five, and six. Per Hogwarts Icons rules, every image you submit that is larger than icon sized must have two totally distinct and separate variations. We have decided to award points for banners one, two three, and four because they meet the required criteria. Please change your post to 4 banners at 8 points each for a total of 32 points. Remember in the future that larger graphics require two totally distinct and completely visible variations between themselves and every other graphic submitted!

Just wondering, do you guys have a post to check whether or not a variation would count as points?

We don't have a post specifically for that purpose, but there are examples of acceptable variations in our FAQ and we posted a clarification on multiple variations last month. You're always more than welcome to contact us through the FAQ, the Comments and Concerns page, or a message to this account.

Having a check post would be a very good idea, wouldn't it? Officially the term has ended for HI, but this is information we'll pass along to whoever is going to be moderating the community next term. Hopefully this is something they can implement. If there's anything you think could make the explanations clearer, please do pass that information along! We don't want this to be confusing or frustrating for anyone.
