Special Agent Dale Cooper had once again run out of leads in the talking-cat investigation. He'd met a cat named Bombalurina, who hadn't been able to give him much information about why there were so many talking cats at Hogwarts, let alone why they might want to eat people's faces

Domino entered the Great Hall. In her pocket was the letter Sarah sent her, and she felt it was time she forced herself out of the room. She walked into the Hall with an air of confidence, and a smug look on her face. It seemed unusually quiet, apart from one man sitting with a coffee. She approached him from behind, leaned over and grabbed a doughnut. Biting a big chunk, with a full mouth she said, 'You gonna eat that?' and then giggled a little.

Cooper looked up and grinned. "You've got some nerve," he said, laughing. He liked the girl's moxie, whoever she was. "Help yourself. Want to have a seat? I could use some company."

She threw the doughnut over her shoulder, not caring where it landed. She just assumed a house elf would sort it out. 'Nah, it taste like shit,' she smiled. Straddeling the chair, she said, 'You seem a bit...away with it. Not that I don't know that you're not a total fucking loony, and that's just the look you have. But for a normal guy, you seem distant.' With that she started spinning her cuffs round her fingers.

"I've got a lot on my mind," Cooper admitted. What the girl lacked in tact, she made up for in perceptiveness. "I don't think we've met. Special Agent Dale Cooper, formerly FBI, now freelance."
