Jack & JD,

What is this doing here? Yes, I'd love to, I'll be there. Meeting you first is probably the best idea. Thanks.

Gwen.

Jack and JD ~

That sounds smashing! I promise not to hold the whole 'separating from the Mother country' thing against you. ;)

I've actually never been to a Thanksgiving dinner - should we bring something?

~ Lily

(Added in a different handwriting at the bottom of the note, as if someone had grabbed it before it could be sent and put in a postscript.)

P.S. Just how formal is this thing? Are you wearing your very prettiest dress?

Lily,

you'll have a great time, then! It's up to you, really. I mean, if you want to bring anything, great, and if not, don't worry about it.

Jack says: Well I sure will be if you are. Though I suggest no underwear, don't want it spoiling the way the dress looks.

Brilliant! I'll bring something British, just to keep from drowning in you Yanks' patriotic pride.

~ Lily

(Again the other handwriting:)

P.S. I can't believe I'm saying this, but that had better have been directed at me, Jacko. And I never wear underwear.

(And then, back in Lily's script:)

P.P.S. Don't believe him. He looks quite adorable in his boxers.

Lily,

That sounds great, thanks! (Are you vegetarian or anything?)

Jack would like to say not all of us are Yanks, some of us come from a galaxy far far away, and to Coxy... "That was all for you! Well isn't that interesting to know. So I do hope you're going to be in a dress now. Want to see those legs."

JD,

Count me in! My last (and second ever!) Thanksgiving was spent eating canned turkey in the dark with Jim Morrison. Hey, it wasn't our fault we weren't able to pay the electricity bill! Pumping petrol does not pay well, and we were a bit behind....

My first Thanksgiving was spent in the loony bin, but at least they served up real turkey, right?

Anyway, your pterodactyl is fucking awesome.

See you there!

Sirius,

It'll be great to have you there, and I'm sure Bob appreciates being called awesome.

Bye!

Mel,

Fantastic, you know I think I have met him. Though he won't remember me as I looked a lot little different. Anyway, can't wait.

Jack,

Thanksgiving, is that the one with as much turkey as one could possibly stuff themselves with and the Native Americans? Bit of a weird thing to make a holiday, don't you think? A special day to give thanks to the things you should already be thankful for. Ah well. No turning down free food. I'll be there.

-The Doctor

P.S.: We should probably have a few words after, I think. As in actual words and not fists, honestly.

Doc,

Sounds right, this is mostly JD's doing. Glad you will. As for the words well yeah I got a question for you at some point too.

Jack

Jack,

ORLY? Oh really? Well, then Friday should prove interesting. And no, haven't yet, but now you've made me slightly paranoid. She invited?

Doc,

No, long story involving a knife and me telling JD about it. So no. Probably best keeping them apart. Gwen's gonna be there. And don't worry about the question it's to do with certain things not happening when I, well window, knife... you know.

Jack.
