Absolutely terrified and traumatised rat back.redballerinaNovember 16 2006, 20:43:46 UTC
The letter was read several times, and for each time, Bombalurina brightened even more. Let's see, Jerry, Jerry... Oh yeah, that redhead. Well, he was cute. She wouldn't mind a tour around the castle with him. Her reply was short and sloppy, written with a pencil that she held between her teeth.
Am outside the common room, hon. Come get me. - Bomba.
Then she released the rat, which she had been pinning to the floor, and retracted her claws. "Your lucky day, darling," she said to it and grinned toothily. "Now run off and find Jerry."

Mungojerrie missed the ability to terrify rats. When you were human, you didn't have claws, sharp teeth, or the appetite. The rat was set free much to its relief.
Grinning from ear to ear, Mungojerrie opened the door to the common room. "Well, hello again."
"That's me; a gentleman," He replied, looking down at the red queen. Did cats always look that small? He felt as tall as this castle looking down. Cats..."Do you want a treat? Maybe milk." Emphasis anyone?
Bombalurina leaned casually against the table, sipping her chocolate. This body reacted well to the sugar. She had the distinct feeling this chocolate thing was something she really could get used to.
"Mm-hm, these bodies have their advantages," she said simply.
She looked at her fingers again. Flexed them. Held up her hand to properly see it, investigating from every angle. Was it a good hand? It had to be. It was hers, after all.
"Oh, I appreciate it, alright," she smiled, somewhat amused. "So what else does one do for fun around here?"

Bombalurina sat up and gave her paw a quick lick, smoothing down the fur on her head. Not that she needed it. It was just a good move to make.
"How very gentlemanly of you to offer showing me around," she said, smile still in place. "I really appreciate it."
